We've been using HEN for a few months and have found it to be really useful to record our home ed journey. I love that it's a familiar social media type layout with everything easy to find and use and that you can choose what to share with who. The customer service is second to none too, the person I spoke to was attentive and compassionate when I spoke with them. Thanks for providing this service HEN team, it's brilliant!

We found out about you from your life skills list.  Such a great idea to put it together. We use the list as a challenge checklist to see how many we can tick off as we add it to the diary. Thank you!

I've been trying to move away from social media so its really refreshing to just be able to focus on the home ed. The design is very clean and easy to use which helps less distractions.

Going great thanks. Been using it for a few months, and the report writing is so much easier. I like how it splits the details so that I can see what each of my children have done.

I love the way that it makes all my diary entries look so good. I used to keep take photos of all my children's work but there was never a way for me to be able to organise them in a way that made any useful sense. Thank you HEN!

OMG. Thank you so much. We chose to home educate after my son came home crying after being bullied. He struggled with anxiety and seeing our photo diary and all the progress he's made is amazing. It helped confirm for me that home ed was the right thing to do.

It has been really helpful thank you. Sadly, we've had a change in circumstances and both have to go back to work but we'd still like to keep the free account so we can look back and pick up again hopefully when we're able to.

I took my daughter out of school due to bullying. I was not very good at school myself so I was a bit nervous how things would go as her anxiety would get quite bad but your resources have been really helpful in making it very easy.

Haha of course! I actually stopped using social media as it can pretty negative at times and it was nice to find your website. I'll certainly share with my home ed friends when I see them. I think this can help so many people!

Made at 🏠 with ❤

When we started home educating our own children we realised very quickly how overwhelming and scary it all felt.

But like with most things, by taking small steps at a time we quickly became comfortable and more excited.

We loved how exciting unique and happy each child was towards learning.

Home education became fun and inspiring and we were surprised at how much progress we could see in each child, so like many, we decided to keep notes and photos of what we were doing.

It would be lovely to look back at the progress we were making and see how our children were developing.

Children in forest

We loved the idea of being able to look back through old memories.

We kept a physical diary but notebooks got damaged or lost.

We kept a spreadsheet with notes but found it couldn't capture everything we wanted (plus it became sooo boring).

We tried journalling apps but felt it could be done better.

We tried a private social media group but was concerned about privacy and how quickly things could be removed without knowing.

So over the years we built our own tools which worked well for us and now opening it up to the home ed community.
